A place I would like to live in

I have tried to be content with the place I have resided in throughout my life, a regular village  near Jerusalem,  After some contemplation , I realized  that The place I will choose  to live will be calm and won’t cause me stress,” I said to myself, and kept on thinking of a calm place that has lake and trees .

From my early childhood,When my parents took me to Tiberias  for the first time, I was literally shocked by nature's beauty and the amazing feeling of freedom , Since that time, I kept on visiting the lake every year. I traveled to several lakes and mountains in Italy last summer,. Every time I was visiting  the  lakes there,  I wondered if a person who lived  in those lakes and mountains could be miserable?

A Difference

Does school actually benefit students? Is it actually useful? The way I see it: school teaches students how to make a life but not how to live it. What do I mean by that…? Let us see.

Teachers shove information 24/7 into student’s brains, which surely makes them academically smart. They can use that knowledge to build a better future for them and their work life. I think that is beneficial, right? By using this knowledge, you can achieve great things. In my opinion that is the only thing where school actually helps them. For their future and their work life. However, what about the other life aspects?

MY visit to Saudi Arabia

It was two hard days going to Saudi Arabia crossing the desert by Jordan, we had crossed two countries by bus:  first we went to Jordan and from there proceeded to Saudi Arabia. all the travelers gathered in the village square heading to Saudi Arabia, to perform Umrah. Not only was the journey gruelling we had to change our passports to Jordanian passports to enter Saudi Arabia.

Movie Review: The Social Network

Release 2010
Director- David Fincher
Jessie Eisenberg as Mark Zukerberg
Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Sverin
Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker
Rooney Mara as Erica Albright

This movie based on Ben Merzrich's book "The Accidental Billionaires" which was written largely with the help of Eduardo Saverin, tells the story of what is regarded by many as one of our era's cornerstones- Facebook. In my opinion this is a truely educational movie, however it is unsuitable to watch in educational institutions (sex, drugs, alcohol). Zukerberg is one of the central figures shaping our lives and every kid or adult using his products (Facebook, Whatsapp, Instegram, Messenger) should watch this film to understand the magnitude of this tool. In this film, just like many other films which follow the lives of great personalities we see that their success is rooted in their ability to see into the future.

Procrastination

First and foremost, procrastination is a term which means the delay of important tasks or errands. personally, I wouldn't call it procrastinating. In my opinion, this is no more than laziness. I mean, we all have things to do, some people know how to get things done while others are busy wasting time instead. Of course, I don't include those who have emotional issues, or those who live on the road like musicians.

I am referring to people who prefer being on Facebook than making a living for themselves. These people, ironically, also have the biggest, loudest mouths. I have met a lot of productive people who do not complain or mention procrastination at all..

Personally I’d rather be doing something than watching another stupid video. In addition, there is a group of lazy people who are obsessed with photos. They just can't get enough of it, they take 60 selfies a day. To me that's disturbing. I think some of the blame is on this modern era we live in because, as determined as you think you are, a video game will always be more thrilling than doing your laundry. Anyway,I would keep things prioritized properly and never postpone them.
Some rappers mock other rappers by calling them lazy, I tend to agree. If you want to achieve something in life,  just go for it, nobody else is going to take care of your responsibilities. That's just how life works. I am aware that it has become cool to declare yourself as lazy, probably that's the image people are trying to present online.

Well, broke people are lazy too. Totally.

Child slavery

What do you know about child slavery?

Many of us, unconsciously, support child slavery. A tremendous number of famous companies uses the services of children, under disgraceful terms of employment. Even though many people believe that slavery no longer exists, an estimated five million children are in slavery worldwide, including in the UK.

Did you know that 152 million children, aged between 5 to 17 are victims of child slavery? Did you know that one third of them do not recieve education? and Did you know that 15 million were in forced marriage?

(International labour organization website)

Child slavery usually occurs in poor areas where children must work for their family's living. Children especially are being exploited due to their weakness- they are easily controlled and can't demand terms of employment and rights.

In Lake Volta in Ghana, thousands of children work in the fishing industry. Foli, a twelve-year-old kid also testifies about the slavery at the lake: "Those who can't swim, they die. I'm mad when I see this. There is no rest. It is very dangerous for children... it is the children who suffer." Ten-year-old Gideon, says: "They have been telling us we are grownups. I don't like working at the lake. At times, I will say that I'm tired, but by force, we have to go." IJM (International Justice Mission) and the local authorities found and rescued these three boys.

(Testimonies from IJM website)

It’s hard to believe, but those children have no idea what a normal childhood looks like and what it actually means. A worldwide radical change must happen, and we should all do our best to raise awareness, support the organizations that are willing to help these children, and pray for a change.

The Notebook

The Notebook - A Book I am Reading

 Hi Everyone!
I wanted to tell you about an amazing book I am reading. The book is called The notebook and it was written by Nicholas Sparks.
The story is about a couple that kept on loving each other in spite of all the problems they faced during their life together. The time is after the second world war and the place is South Carolina, USA. Allie was from a rich family and Noah was from a poor family. They met each other in his small town where her family stayed temporarily and after her parents discovered that they love each other they moved to another place because they wanted to separate them. Noah Wrote letter to his loved one but her mother hid all of them. Just before her wedding with a rich advocate she went to visit the city where she met Noah. Of course they found each other again and never separated again.
Years later, after living together and loving each other Allie became sick with dementia and couldn't recognize anyone anymore, not even her beloved husband and the both of them moved to a nursing home. It was very hard for Noah to see his wife in this condition but he keeps on reading to her from the notebook she was writing about her life, and sometimes Allie would remember him.
I will not tell you what happened in the end.... you should read the book and find out by yourselves!

The Power of a Teacher

When I was a child, I had one teacher who believed in me above all. She nourished not only my mind, but also my heart and soul. Many years after I graduated, we met accidentally, and she asked me what I do these days, I answered that I sell insurance in our family business, and her eyes became sad.

Edible Aloe Vera

In the search for improved health and happiness, I always search for natural food supplements. I have raised my very own Kombucha, I have made  turmeric, cinnamon, ginger  balls, I have retrained my coffee grinder to powder flax seeds, I make fruit as well as green shakes on a daily basis, with or without avocado, but always with bananas, as well as carrot juice and apple juice alternately… And the list goes on encompassing my daily routine. Yesterday a friend I have not seen for several months came by. At some point the discussion turned to her recent habit of consuming edible Aloe vera and incorporating it into her family's daily consumption. She looked around disappointed not to find any variety of Aloe-vera, shamefully I
